The full form of DMLT is Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology. DMLT course provide skills to work in medical laboratories as technicians as Medical Laboratory Technicians. DMLT course fees are INR 2 Lakhs to INR 4 Lakhs.

There were 337,800 job positions for DMLT till 2019, which is assumed will increase 7% by 2029, which means around 25000 new job scope will be created by 2029.

However, some colleges also offer the course after higher secondary examinations. Admissions to the course depend on the merit list of the qualifying exams. Some colleges does conduct entrance exams to admit students. Applicants should have a minimum of 50% aggregate to be eligible for Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
